St. Francis Church is a community dedicated to the transformation of lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the Kingdom of God.
Welcome to the web site of St. Francis Church, Goodlettsville, TN. We are a Biblically-minded, mission driven church in the Anglican tradition, and we would love for you to come and worship with us!
We are a young church family and we come from all backgrounds and walks of life. Some of our members were not active church-goers before coming to St. Francis, some had given up on church altogether. Others simply felt that they didn’t fit the mold in other communities. They longed for something different, a place where they could hear God and experience a different approach to Christianity than they had known before. They found a home at St. Francis–we hope you will as well.
Come and join us for worship at 10:30 AM every Sunday.
While our worship is liturgical and some might consider it formal in that sense, it is directed toward God and our community is a relaxed one–people come to worship God without agendas. Some wear their “Sunday Best” others wear shorts or jeans, but we’re all here to worship Jesus Christ in fellowship with one another.
We strive to proclaim the “traditional” (that is, the living faith of the dead) Christian faith rather than “traditionalism” (the dead faith of the living). Doing that in our world is an adventure that leads us to be welcoming to others and willing to reach beyond the bounds of our congregation in service to our community. We are a small but growing congregation that strives to have an impact far beyond our numbers and in keeping with the gospel we proclaim.
